Choosing the Right Paper for Your Print

We offer a range of high-quality paper options to suit different styles and needs. Whether you’re ordering an art print, a conference poster, an educational poster, or a medical presentation poster, this guide will help you choose the best material for your order.

“gsm” means Grams per Square Metre. Normal office paper is usually 75gsm. The higher the GSM, the thicker the paper.

Matt 230gsm (Recommended Choice)

Best for: Most prints, including fine art reproductions, presentations, and general posters.

  • No sheen or reflection, giving prints a natural and professional look.
  • Works well for traditional art styles, illustrations, and minimalist designs.
  • Affordable with high-quality results.
  • Ideal for academic and conference presentations.
  • Our preferred choice for most orders due to its excellent print quality and versatility.

Satin 190gsm

Best for: Heavy ink coverage prints, photography, and vibrant designs.

  • Has a slight sheen, enhancing colour vibrancy and contrast.
  • More forgiving than gloss in terms of reflections.
  • Resistant to fingerprints
  • Suitable for conference and educational posters where color vibrancy is key.

Fine Art Paper 310gsm (A4 Only, Giclée print)

Best for: Small high-end art prints and archival-quality reproductions.

  • Thicker, textured paper with a premium feel.
  • Acid & lignin free, 100% cotton
  • Ideal for collectors or artists looking for a high-end finish.
  • Excellent longevity.
  • Only available in A4 size.

Gloss 260gsm

Best for: Bold, high-contrast images where shine enhances the detail.

  • High gloss finish for deep blacks and rich colors.
  • Very reflective, which can add a striking effect but also means careful handling is required to avoid scratches.
  • Not ideal for prints that will be frequently handled.
  • Works well for photo-heavy posters used in displays and exhibitions.

Polyester Canvas 260gsm

Best for: Durable, long-lasting posters and artwork that may be handled frequently or rolled up for storage.

  • Slight texture that hides small imperfections, making it great for lower-resolution images.
  • More resistant to creases, scratches, and damage compared to paper options.
  • A fantastic choice for event posters, banners, educational materials, and artwork that needs to last.
