Description
2D and 3D shapes poster presented in clear muted colours which have been shown to aid focus and concentration, especially for autistic children. This poster can be used to help develop maths skills in recognising shapes and their simple characteristics. The words and numbers on this poster are written in the Open Dyslexic (opendyslexic.org) font to increase readability for dyslexic users.
This poster shows the names of a variety of 2D & 3D shapes, along with the number of sides or faces they have. This is an ideal resource for the classroom or home to encourage children to begin exploring shapes and naming them along with the number of sides/faces. This also helps children learn to differentiate 2D and 3D shapes. This product is primarily aimed at younger children learning the basics, and does not include more complicated aspects such as angles and vertices.
